It has been an extraordinary last 6 months for The Point Foundation, a charity that was formed by Imporient and other like minded companies and individuals to transform the lives of orphaned children around the world, but principally in Africa, from birth to 18 years of age.

The Point Foundation Ball…£150,000 raised!

In October 2009, Imporient, as one of the trustees, attended The Point Foundation’s inaugural charity ball held at The Dorchester Hotel in London. It was a hugely successful evening which included hearing from Charles Trace, the foundation’s chairman and our patron British Olympic 400m hurdles champion Sally Gunnell OBE.

It was finished with a charity auction that exceeded all expectations to raise a phenomenal £150,000! This outstanding sum will significantly improve the lives of the children at the Noel Orphanage and the foundation’s other projects. A huge thank you must be extended to all those who attended the event.

Initially a playful, fruity sweetness enables a smooth and rounded marriage of flavours that later unravel into a light, herbaceous green tea body followed by delicate floral peach notes in the finish.

Vibrant green peppermint leaves shine in the cup producing a deep amber infusion with a powerful, awakening aroma. It introduces itself with a brutally direct, aggressive assault on the senses with an uncompromising cooling blast of an entrance. Full-bodied at the start, it leaves a cleansing sensation on the palate that develops in to a long, fresh invigorating finish.

Dainty whole camomile flowers produce a clear yellow infusion that bathes the cup in a soothing and contented glow whilst releasing a soft, calming aroma.
